Ideas are Nothing Without Diagrams

Jullian De Smedt and his firm JDS have a tendency to use many diagrams in there work. This helps to convey ideas. This is paticularly affective when they are trying to convey ideas to there clients, or anyone else interested in their works.





For example, when they designed an island named "mermaid island they used diagrams to display the ideas and processes that would be used.



Another example is when they came up with plans to "connect more cultural points" and "update culural potential" in Lindesnes No for a competition, they used many pages of explanatory diagrams similar to below.

  6. Julian De Smedt was born in Brussels in 1975. After attending schools in Brussels, Paris, Los Angeles and London, Julien de Smedt received a diploma with commendation from the Bartlett School of Architecture in London in 2000.
