Unstudio tries to connect to the surrounding environment while bringing in new ideas to "futurize" our world. The structures they create push the limits while still fitting in like its not different at all.
They also try to combine many corporations in one building to maximize space. In living tomorrow they have living and businesses a floor apart so u can walk to work. They also have dinning halls and entertainment floors.
With New York's new square they created a way to access the city around the building. By doing this people don't have to travel across the city to get to work, eat, or visit a friend. Its all right by. it also added a little bit of futurism to the city without drawing too much attention to the area. Unfortunately the contest they entered in to rejected their ideas.
