Diller & Scofidio's buildings reflect parts of society in unique ways. they find ways to represent the surroundings in interesting ways. they have made a building they is made of fog and mist like its surrounding lake and swiss town. they have made an addaptable building that could have been built anywhere because the people it houses must live anywhere. they have made a floating park because the people need a retreat from city life. all these representations are abstract yet appealing.

how could you make a floating park?
ReplyDeleteWhen you say "floating park" do you mean it's like an open aircraft? How do people get to it?

ReplyDeleteI think he means by floating park is that the park is elevated like the picture of the grassy highway ramp below the paragraph. But what is the picture to the left?
